Cheap ACOG???
 

Is there a company out there selling an ACOG knockoff that's decent?

I'm looking for one calibrated for .223/556, setup for the carry handle on my AR.

I'd really hate to shell out $800+ for a mini scope. That would buy a whole bunch of silver.:bear_w00t:

Not an ACOG, but the BEC AR-15 scope (3-9x42 and 5x42) is good value for the money (https://www.cheaperthandirt.com/SCP105-68767-1887.html).

Do a search for a "Hako".
Might work for you.

Thanks for your help guys. I settled on this 4x21 Hakko with the illuminated reticle and .223 BDC, setup for the carry handle.

I had 2 BEC products fall apart on their first use (sks) I wouldn't touch another BEC product with a 10' pole.

They work fine for me, but I've also heard about lemons in the mix. Nonetheless, if you go into the dirt and brush often, it's better to scratch and bang up a cheapo $60 scope instead of an $800 highfalutin model.

Used ACOGs are reasonably priced on Ebay, far below retail.
